MY GAZA!
so boring is the talk on reconciliation and state declaration. if there is one thing Palestinians hate their leaders for , it’s their illusion of a better future amid divisions . Despite handshakes and smiles, nothing has changed since the reconciliation deal. I still see hatred pumped into Palestinian minds by local media outlets. i still see no change in policy . this agreement ornamented Gaza’s neighborhoods; yellow joins green on rooftops, and songs of fateh are played on wedding parties in Gaza. Most importantly, both parties agreed to make our life more miserable by imposing taxes cracking down on human rights activists. The deal is much more than flags and songs, smiles and handshakes, its about both sides welling to concede for the better interest of the Palestinians. its about announcing an official apology to the people, and then activating the court of low so that killers get what they deserve. Its about both governments stepping down for a better leadership to be in charge. …
